Warning: today’s post will contain a lot of swearing.
YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
I know this is going to say all sorts of awful things about society, and my psyche, and I could probably preach about it for an hour, but I’m just going to accept that this is where I am at, and move on from here.
People have told me before that I am beautiful, that I have lovely legs, or eyelashes, or eyes, or hair, or fashion, or whatever the case may be and while these moments have made me feel great, none of them quite compare to the feeling of elation when my lovely friend G-Force gave me a compliment today. You may have to know him (and us, and our passion for Britney and other things pop) to completely appreciate this but here goes:
I was standing onstage wearing my hot tan boots (pictured in my last post), my jeans with the studs on the butt, a green girl-version of a wife-beater, and a white blouse tied in a knot around my waist. My hair was crazy-curled and pulled up, and as usual when I want to feel hot I had on lots and lots of eyeliner.
G-Force came over to me, gave me a hug, and whispered conspiratorially in my ear, “Guess who looks like a skinny bitch today?”
I looked around, trying to figure it out, and finally whispered back, “Who?”
His response, “You!”
Isn’t that horrifying that I was elated t0 be called a “skinny bitch”?
Whatever, I am going to own it!
did DO look like a skinny bitch. (In this case bitch is a positive adjective, not a negative one.)
And it is about time for the world to know it!
On another note: I am in LOVE with Taylor Swift’s new cd. And you cannot persuade me otherwise.
Do not forget that Grease opens this week, and it really is going to be a great show so you don’t want to miss out!
a fierce, fashion-forward, skinny bitch,
P.S. Thank you Y for telling me I looked hot and skinny, and to Amanda and Aubry and most especially Selena for complimenting me as well. You all made me feel great!!! But I think it was your lack of profanity that lost out to Geoffrey’s compliment 🙂
